EU-LAC Innovation Cooperation Conference

The European Commission is hosting an EU-LAC Innovation Cooperation Conference on 21-22 November in Brussels, Belgium. In the light of the recently published EU-LAC communication, the Conference aims to bring together key stakeholders from both regions (policy makers, innovation agencies and financing bodies) to debate and shape the future of innovation cooperation, with a specific focus on Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.

German Science Day in Vietnam

On 30 October 2019, a German Science Day will be held in Hanoi. It will be the third event of its kind in Vietnam. The Science Day is jointly organised by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the DAAD branch office Hanoi and serves to present bilateral research projects and facilitate further networking.

GreenTalents – Science Forum 2019

For the past ten years, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has been organising the renowned programme 'Green Talents - International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development' in order to promote the international exchange of knowledge on sustainable development. The 25 winners will be invited to a fully funded, two-week Science Forum in Germany.

Information Tour of Uzbek Young Scientists

From 6 to 19 October 2019, a delegation of young Uzbek researchers will tour the eastern part of Germany. The trip aims at intensifying contacts between Germany and Uzbekistan in the area of innovation and research, which should lead to a joint funding measure for research and development projects in 2020.

PALGER Workshop for German-Palestinian Projects

From 10 - 12 September 2019, an evaluation and kick-off workshop for the joint German-Palestinian projects funded under PALGER 2015 & 2017 will be held in Ramallah. Midterm Meeting of German and Israeli Stakeholders within the Joint Call on Applied Nanotechnology
