How to get to the International Bureau Bonn

Public Transport

Coming from Cologne central station or Köln-Messe/Deutz take the train to Koblenz and get off at Bonn-Oberkassel (Note: take the train via Troisdorf and Linz but not via Bonn). The train runs twice per hour, travel time is about 30 minutes.

Coming from Cologne/Bonn-Airport: you can take the train to Koblenz and get off at Bonn-Oberkassel (Note: take the train via Troisdorf and Linz, not the train via Bonn). Travel time is about 25 minutes. Alternatively, you can take tram number 13 (direction Troisdorf) to Troisdorf. From here take the train to Bonn-Oberkassel (travel time: approx. 40 minutes).

Coming from Siegburg/Bonn-ICE-Station: Take the train number 12 to Kerpen-Sindorf to Troisdorf. Take the train (to Koblenz) via Linz and get off at Bonn-Oberkassel. The train runs twice per hour and travel time is about 15 minutes.

Coming from Bonn central station the tram number 62 towards Oberkassel-Süd/Römlinghoven will take you to the tram stop Ramersdorf. Alternatively, take tram number 66 to Bad Honnef and get off at tram stop Ramersdorf. Both trams run about every ten minutes, regular travel time is 20 to 25 minutes.

Footpath

From Oberkassel train station:

Walk along Kalkuhlstraße to Königswinterer Straße, turn left and follow Königswinterer Straße for about 500 metres. Here you will find building 1. The next street to the left is Heinrich-Konen-Straße. The first large building on the left-hand side is building 2, the next building on the left is building 5. Alternatively you can follow a foot path which runs parallel to the railway (see map below). This is the shortest route to buildings 2 and 5.

From tram stop Ramersdorf:

Pass the parking lot. At the junction Oberkasseler Straße/ Königswinterer Straße turn left to Königswinterer Straße in direction Oberkassel. After about 200 metres, turn right onto Heinrich-Konen-Straße. The first large building on the left-hand side is building 2, the next building on the left is building 5 (approx. 5 minutes).

Travelling by car

Take the A 59 or B 42 to junction Bonn-Ost. Change to A 562 in direction Bad Godesberg and exit at Bonn-Oberkassel (approx. 300 metres).Turn left to Oberkassel. At the roundabout (after about 800 metres) take the first exit to Oberkassel (Königswinterer Straße). Continue straight ahead for building 1, after approx. 250 m on the right-hand side. For buildings 2 and 5, take the first right onto Heinrich-Konen-Straße. The first large building on the left-hand side is building 2, the next building on the left is building 5. There is limited parking space for guests in front of building 1 and in the underground parking lot of building 5.
