The 6th bilateral funding announcement within the framework of the German-Egyptian Research Fund (GERF) is expected to start in the 2nd quarter of 2024. Thus, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Egyptian Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) will continue their cooperation in 2024. The current funding announcement will support innovative German-Egyptian joint projects in applied research on the topics of 'One Health' and 'Green Transition'.
