Colombia Day of the BMBF

The Colombia Day of the German Federal Ministry of Education and research (BMBF) will take place in Bonn on 25 and 26 March 2019. The event aims to connect scientists and experts in Germany who are interested in cooperation with Colombia and to develop suggestions for future cooperation activities with Colombia.

The event focusses on networking and the exchange of experience. You will also receive a wealth of information about funding opportunities. Topics and formats:

subject-specific get-togethers in four working groups (life sciences, geosciences and marine research, engineering, humanities and social sciences),
'science dating',
an ideas competition for up to three workshops in Colombia (funding up to 15,000 euros each),
lectures and information stands of the funding and intermediary organisations,
ample opportunity for informal exchange.

The deadline for participation in the ideas competition is 14 February 2019. You can only enter the ideas competition if you have registered for the event and are present on both days.
