The first issue focuses on current publications of the German SGIP expert group. Sign up for the newsletter by sending an e-mail to the SGIP coordination office at dcpi@dlr.de or  subscribe on the website. The newsletter will be published quarterly and on special occasions. With the website relaunch in December 2018, SGIP has become an information hub around innovation in China and innovation cooperation with China.

The Innovation Platform, which was launched in 2011, was founded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in cooperation with the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. Since then, regular events have been held in both countries to discuss current developments and challenges in innovation systems and explore possible fields of cooperation. The forum brings together leading scientists, institutions and companies from both countries. The German-Chinese expert group provides advice on the content-related development of the Platform and is at the centre of the ongoing dialogue.
