Logo ENRICH in LAC

ENRICH in LAC (ENRICH in Latin America and the Caribbean) was part of the H2020 initiative to establish a global network of European research and innovation centres. It acted as the central contact point for stakeholders in this field.

ENRICH in LAC broadened the regional spectrum of the previous initiative ENRICH in Brazil (2017-2020). In its first year, the project focused on the target countries Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Uruguay. Currently, the project activities were later expanded to Central America and the Caribbean.

EULAC PerMed (widening EU ‐ CELAC policy and research cooperation in personalised medicine) aimed to connect the Latin America and Caribbean region to the International Consortium for Personalised Medicine ICPerMed and to gain members from the partner region. The project activities contributed to the worldwide introduction of personalised medicine, especially in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

Logo ResInfra EU-LAC

EU-LAC ResInfa promoted the networking and cooperation of research infrastructures between Europe and the Latin America and Caribbean region by implementing four pilots in the fields of structural biology, climate change and biodiversity, cultural preservation, and high-performance computing. The project aimed to create roadmaps for cooperation, set up virtual research platforms, and to hold workshops, summer schools, staff exchange and webinars.
