POL-ECO-SYSTEM takes place annually in Poznan under the auspices of the Polish Minister of the Environment. Since 2015, the traditional trade fair has been held under its current name.
The fair offers exhibitors the opportunity to present new environmental technologies and products. Last year, it attracted around 7,000 visitors. On an exhibition space of around 10,000 m², annually over 300 exhibitors present their organisations and companies, one third of which are from abroad. The topics of the fair include water and wastewater, energy and renewable energies, global warming, waste and recycling, air, noise and vibration as well as control and measuring equipment.
From 23 to 25 October 2018, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) presents German exhibitors from research institutions and companies under the heading "German Networks for the Environment - Innovative Projects for the Future". Their goal is to attract future cooperation partners from Polish research, science and industry for joint bilateral and European projects.
In total, 19 research institutions, multipliers and funding organisations with their projects, networks and cooperation platforms are showcased at the BMBF booth this year.
The stand offers space for cooperation talks, presentations and workshops. The DLR Project Management Agency, the Polish National Contact Point for the EU Research Programs (KPK) and the Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB) are on hand to provide information about funding opportunities at national and EU level.
