ENRICH in LAC (ENRICH in Latin America and the Caribbean) was part of the H2020 initiative to establish a global network of European research and innovation centres. It acted as the central contact point for stakeholders in this field. ENRICH in LAC broadened the regional spectrum of the previous initiative ENRICH in Brazil (2017-2020). In its first year, the project focused on the target countries Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Uruguay. Currently, the project activities were later expanded to Central America and the Caribbean.

EU-LAC ResInfa promoted the networking and cooperation of research infrastructures between Europe and the Latin America and Caribbean region by implementing four pilots in the fields of structural biology, climate change and biodiversity, cultural preservation, and high-performance computing.
