The free virtual event took place on International Women and Girls in Science Day and offered participants the opportunity to take part in scientific discussions and networking events.

On 10 February, scientific discussions focused on ‘climate change impacts and adaptations’, ‘new technologies’, as well as ‘health and well-being’. On 11 February, the event concluded with a keynote address and a panel discussion.

In addition, digital posters could be submitted from 17 December 2021 to 14 January 2022 to showcase research excellence by women in science and innovation.
