On 11 February 2020, the PRIMA ("Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area") funding initiative published its third call for proposals, which has a total funding volume of €71 million. The submission deadlines for the 1st application stage have already expired. The evaluation of pre-proposals has been completed in Sections 1 and 2. The projects successful in the 1st application stage were invited to submit a full proposal (2nd application stage). The deadlines for submission are as follows:

• 22 September 2020 for Section 1 (funded under Horizon 2020)
• 1 October 2020 for Section 2 (funded by PRIMA member states)
