The focus of the event will be on the exchange of experiences and networking. You will also receive a wealth of information about funding opportunities.
Here's what we have planned for you:
- subject-specific 'get-together' in four working groups (life sciences, geosciences and marine research, engineering, humanities and social sciences),
- 'science slam' of the finalists of the ideas competition for young scientists,
- lectures and information booths of funding and intermediary organisations, and
- plenty of room for informal exchange

Ideas Competition
As part of the event, young scientists from participating research institutions and universities will be able to take part in an 'ideas competition'. Applicants can submit idea outlines for organising and conducting a thematic workshop in Colombia.
The deadline for taking part in the ideas competition is 24 April 2023. You can only take part in the ideas competition if you have registered for the event and will be present on both days.
