Final Conference IWRM Zayandeh Rud

The research project 'IWRM Zayandeh Rud' started in 2010 and has been funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) within the framework of a funding initiative on Integrated Water Resources Management. The project's final conference will be held on 9 and 10 December 2018 in Isfahan (Iran).

The aim of the German-Iranian joint project is the development of a sustainable water management for the catchment area of Zayandeh Rud in central Iran. The competencies of both partner countries were bundled to make the use of water along the river more sustainable, thereby balancing the competing demands of agriculture, industry, people and the environment.
