Travelling Workshop on Technology Transfer and Capacity Building

In a series of six workshops, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) organites bilateral events on the topics of technology transfer and capacity building in six countries of the Western Balkans. After two successfully completed events in Tirana / Albania in February 2017 and in Skope in March 2017, four more meetings have been prepared:

11 to 12 April 2017 in Podgorica / Montenegro
11 to 12 May 2017 in Zagreb / Croatia
15 to 16 May 2017 in Sarajevo / Bosnia and Herzegovina
18 to 19 May 2017 in Prishtina / Kosovo

The concept of the workshop follows the guiding principle of initiating application-oriented research and intensive technology transfer on the basis of already existing research networks in the countries of the Western Balkans in cooperation with suitable economic partners. The workshop aims to raise awareness of the need for technology transfer, capacity building and and networking with European partners. Another important objective is the integration of junior staff from science and industry in order to ensure industry-oriented research in the medium and long term.
