"Mobility and the Geopolitics of Knowledge: Challenges of Scientific Exchange between EU and CELAC"

29.08.2016 | Berlin, Germany

Participants will deal with the following questions: What are the main achievements and what are key challenges of the scientific exchange between the European Union (EU) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC)? What are characteristic mobility patterns between both regions? What could both regions learn from each other?

The roundtable takes place in the context of the EU funded project: "Giving focus to the cultural, scientific and social dimension of EU – CELAC relations" (2016-2019), in which 19 institutional partners from Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean work closely together. The main objective of this project is to develop a common vision and a new strategic framework for bi-regional relations.
