BMBF-Forum International 2022 'From Science to Life'

Under the motto 'From Science to Life: Inspiring Cross-Border Innovation', the Federal Ministry of Education and Research invites you to join this year's BMBF Forum International on 19 May 2022. The focus will be on questions such as: How do ideas become innovations? What is the best way to transfer research into practice? What can we learn from other countries? Participants can look forward to an interactive event with top-class lectures and hands-on workshops. 

The forum is aimed at a cross-disciplinary and cross-sector audience from research, business and politics.

'BMBF Forum International' takes place every two to three years. The aim of this series of events is to promote interdisciplinary exchange on current topics of international research cooperation.

The event will take place as a virtual symposium on 19 May 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. CEST.

Participants will hear from:

  • Olaf Groth, Professor of Global Economics, Strategy and Innovation at Hult International Business School and CEO of Cambrian.ai
  • Muriel Helbig, President of the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, Vice President of the DAAD and Board Member of the University Alliance for SMEs
  • Katja Lasch, Director of the German House of Science and Innovation (DWIH) New Delhi, India
  • Thorsten Potthoff, CEO of the German American Chambers of Commerce San Francisco, USA.

Registration for the event will be open until 17 May 2022. Participation is free of charge.

The event will be held in German language.
