The trade fair offers exhibitors from all over the world the opportunity to present innovative environmental technologies and products. The POL-ECO-SYSTEM trade fair attracts more than 20,000 visitors annually from more than 30 countries and four continents. The trade fair attracts between 600 and 1,000 exhibitors from more than 25 countries. The approximately 20,000 m² measuring position covers the following areas:
- Water and sewage,
- Energy, renewable energy sources,
- Waste and recycling,
- Maintaining cleanliness and order,
- Air, noise and vibration,
- Testing and measuring apparatus,
- Environmental education.
The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports measures that help to visualize the performance of the German research landscape in important target countries and contribute to further international networking.
The BMBF presents "German Networks for the Environment - Innovative Projects for the Future" at the POL-ECO-SYSTEM. The ministry aims to attract future cooperation partners from Polish research, science and industry for joint bilateral and European projects. 27 research institutes, multipliers and funding organizations with more than 30 projects, networks and cooperation platforms are represented on the BMBF booth, which provides a platform for cooperation talks, presentations and workshops. The International Bureau, the Polish National Contact Point for the EU Research Programs (KPK), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and the Brandenburg Economic Development Agency (WFBB) provide information on funding opportunities at both national and EU level .
