Design Sprint Kuala Lumpur

The Design Sprint forms part of the current research marketing campaign 'Shaping the Future – Building the City of Tomorrow' of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). It aims at promoting professional exchange between German and Malaysian scientists, practitioners and further experts from architecture and sustainable urban development.

4 October 2017 | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The participants will gain insights into ongoing projects of the campaign, learn more about current perspectives of urban development in Malaysia and jointly develop proposals to solve specific urban challenges in the Malaysian context. The Design Sprint will focus on the topics mobility, resource efficiency and housing. Through the dialogical arrangement of the event, all participants are encouraged to directly contribute with their respective experience backgrounds and research findings. In this way, within a very short period of time, they will step into an intense and direct exchange, which may establish connections for possible future cooperation.
