Background
The Networking Pilot Programme (NPP) currently unites six European countries and India in the aim of enhancing S&T cooperation amongst them. The NPP is funded jointly by 10 European and Indian funding bodies.
Short Info
The aim of this NPP Call for Proposals is to support high quality research networks working on collaborative projects, and at the same time provide a mechanism for future extended projects of Euro-Indian cooperation. Multilateral networked research projects will be funded, providing for mobility and workshops. This includes both the starting of new cooperation and the strengthening of existing contacts in order to initiate and prepare joint projects or foster cooperation.
In order to realise multilateral research cooperation projects have to involve at least two European and one Indian partners.
Proposals are invited in the field of Biotechnology and Health, focussing on:
In accordance with the set of NPP funding bodies, academics, higher education institutions and/or non-university research establishments from the following countries are eligible for funding: Austria, France, Germany, India, The Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey. Other countries may join in (with their own funding).
