Advertising Germany at a regional level

In addition to the priority campaigns, the BMBF, with the support of the International Bureau, is carrying out individual measures and smaller-scale competitions to present Germany as a key research location and an attractive place to do business.

These individual measures include subject-specific workshops and symposia, contact events, fact-finding missions and regular participation in leading scientific and technological trade fairs. There are also competitions in the Central, Eastern and South Eastern European region and in Russia which have the aim of supporting research networks that carry out their own advertising measures to present their expertise in the target regions.
