DIP - Deutsch-Israelische Projektkooperation

Mit der Einrichtung des Programms Deutsch-Israelische Projektkooperation (DIP) im Jahr 1997 wurde eine weitere Kooperationssäule zwischen beiden Ländern errichtet. In diesem Programm, das 2004 erfolgreich evaluiert wurde, werden interdisziplinäre Kooperationsprojekte an der Vorderfront der Forschung gefördert. Schwerpunkte liegen in der Physik, den Lebenswissenschaften und der Chemie. Seit Januar 2008 wird das Programm von der DFG administriert.

German-Israeli Project Cooperation

The German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) established in 1997 the DIP-Program with the aim of devoting funds to a substantial support of joint projects in highly competitive areas of academic research.

There are no limitations regarding the topics chosen. Projects within this program are selected through annual competition and funded for up to five years.

Eligible for the submission of proposals are the six Israeli universities and the Weizmann Institute. Since January 2008, the German Research Foundation (DFG) is responsible for the administration of the programme. For further Details please see here.
